The Aydon Thailand operation is managed and staffed by its in-country partners Tractus Asia Ltd which is a leading Asia-based foreign direct investment advisory firm focused on assisting government agencies, multilaterals and companies with their Asia trade, investment and growth strategies. We work to develop the most cost-effective approaches for our clients to establish operations, make acquisitions, expand, or diversify their manufacturing and service industry investments throughout Asia.
In 1995, Tractus was established in Thailand and began focusing on providing market entry and site selection services as many global multinationals invested in and targeted the growth markets of Asia. Today the firm and its practice areas have expanded with offices and coverage in China, India and Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia and Singapore). We have 60 employees who have advised on US$ 5 billion worth of foreign direct investment and trade projects. Our practical business approach has assisted more than one thousand companies to identify and implement their Asian and global trade and investment strategies and has made us a sought after resource by global economic development authorities.
Strategy & Implementation
Strategy development and implementation consulting underlies all of Tractus’ process-oriented approach to solving clients’ problems and improving business processes. Tractus’ depth and breadth of corporate strategy development and implementation experience in Asia provides clients with a robust and integrated service offering spanning early-stage market research, strategy development and feasibility analysis through to industrial site selection, corporate structuring, licensing and approval and the commercial ramp up of our clients’ business operations.
Tractus Asia provides tailored solutions in the areas of fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, pre-IPO preparation and planning, corporate governance and liability restructuring. On the “sell side,” objectives can include raising growth capital, the disposition of non-strategic assets, or a suitable exit for shareholders. Tractus can assist clients to identify suitable investors or strategic buyers and execute a deal that maximizes our client’s interest. Similarly, on the “buy side” where a client may be looking for a partnership or to complete an acquisition, we identify potential targets and approach them to gauge their interest and determine a suitable mode of acquisition. Such modes can include forming an alliance, a joint venture, or executing a buyout.
For clients seeking to minimize initial investment costs and risks, Tractus provides clients with access to its Business Inc.ubator™, a service which provides basic manufacturing and warehousing operations management oversight or management of business development and sales activities. Our incubator services feature a dedicated team directed by senior management who oversee not only our clients’ operational and business development needs, but also the execution of day-to-day business activities.
Over the years we have established an economic development and investment attraction practice that global economic development organizations, investment promotion agencies, and multilateral organizations have retained to promote trade and attract foreign direct investment to their regions.
